გზის მონაკვეთი 2015 წლის 13 ივნისის სტიქიის შედეგად დაზიანდა.
გზის რეაბილიტაციის პროექტი ევროპის საინვესტიციო ბანკის დაფინანსებით განხორციელდა და მისი ღირებულება 29 მილიონ ლარს სცდება.
დასრულებული პროექტის ფოტოები ინფრასტრუქტურის სამინისტრომ და დედაქალაქის მერიამ გამოაქვეყნა.
დასრულებული გზა ინფრასტრუქტურის მინისტრმა მაია ცქიტიშვილმა, თბილისის მერმა კახა კალაძემ და ევროპის საინვესტიციო ბანკის წარმომადგენლებმა დაათვალიერეს.
