ოკუპირებულ აფხაზეთში რუსი ჯარისკაცის ძეგლი დადგეს

სოხუმში აფხაზეთისა და საქართველოს კონფლიქტის დროს დაღუპული რუსი ჯარისკაცების ძეგლი დადგეს. ოკუპირებული აფხაზეთის დეფაქტო პრეზიდენტმა რაულ ხაჯიმბამ განაცხადა, რომ მონუმენტი რუსეთისა და აფხაზეთის ურთიერთობის სიმბოლო გახდება.

“მრავალი წლის განმავლობაში, სამშვიდობო მისიის ჯარისკაცები ჩვენს მიწაზე მსახურობდნენ. სამსახური მართლაც მძიმე იყო…მე მახსოვს მათი ხელმძღვანელების ობიექტური შეფასები იმ სიტუაციასთან დაკავშირებით რაც საქართველოსთან გვქონდა”, – განაცხადა ხაჯიმბამ.

მონუმენტის მშენებლობა 2015 წელს დაიწყო. მისი ავტორი მოქანდაკე ვლადიმერ სუროვცევია.
