მსახიობი დიმა ჯაიანი გარდაიცვალა, – ინფორმაციას ამის შესახებ აფხაზეთის ავტონომიური რესპუბლიკის მთავრობა ავრცელებს.
დიმა ჯაიანი სენაკში, 1950 წლის 20 აგვისტოს დაიბადა. 1973 წელს დაამთავრა საქართველოს სახელმწიფო თეატრალური ინსტიტუტი დრამისა და კინოს მსახიობის სპეციალობით.
1973 წლიდან იყო სოხუმის დრამატული თეატრის მსახიობი და ამავე თეატრის ყოფილი სამხატვრო ხელმძღვანელი; სპექტაკლებში განსახიერებული აქვს როლები: მეფე გიორგი(“დიდოსტატის მარჯვენა”), მეფე ჰოკონ ჰოკონსენი(იბსენი, “ბრძოლა ტახტისათვის”), ელიზბარ ერისთვი(გ. ბათიაშვილის, “1832”) და სხვა. გადაღებულია ფილმებში: “პირველი მერცხალი” (1975), “ოგარიოვის 6” (1980), “ვინ არის მეოთხე?” (1985).
2013 წლიდან იყო აფხაზეთის ავტონომიური რესპუბლიკის განათლებისა კულტურის მინისტრი.
1998 წელს მიიღო ღირსების ორდენი; 1995 წელს სახელმწიფო პრემია, ხოლო 1989 წელს მიიღო საქართველოსა და აფხაზეთის სახალხო არტისტის წოდება.
