ყველა სამართლებრივი პროცედურა მოხდება ორმხრივი თანამშრომლობის ფარგლებში. – ასე უპასუხა პარლამენტის იურიდიულ საკითხთა კომიტეტის თავმჯდომარე ეკა ბესელიამ ჟურნალისტების კითხვას, მოხდება თუ არა სააკაშვილის ექსტრადირება უკრაინიდან საქართველოში.
“მე როგორც ვიცი, სააკაშვილის ექსტრადირებაზე მოთხოვნა აქამდეც იყო გაგზავნილი. ამ თემაზე, როგორც იუსტიციის სამინისტროს ასევე მთავარ პროკურატურას გაკეთებული აქვს შესაბამისი განცხადებები და განმარტებები. ეს სამართლებრივი პროცედურა საერთაშორისო თანამშრომლობის ფარგლებში და შიდა ეროვნული კანონმდებლობით უკვე დაწყებულია, იმიტომ, რომ მიხეილ სააკაშვილს წინასწარი პატიმრობა შეფარდებული აქვს სასამართლოს მიერ, გაცემულია დაპატიმრების ბრძანება, ასევე ძებნის პროცედურის თაობაზე დაწყებული იყო მუშაობა, ექსტრადირებაზეც თავის დროზე იყო მოთხოვნა. ასე რომ, ყველა შემდგომი სამართლებრივი პროცედურა მოხდება ორმხრივი თანამშრომლობის ფარგლებში, – განაცხადა ბესელიამ.
