საქართველოში დამუშავებული მიწის ფართობი მცირდება. როგორც საქსტატის მიერ მემცენარეობის შესახებ 2017 წლის წინასწარ შედეგებში წერია, 2017 წელს ნათესი ფართობის მოცულობა მხოლოდ 214.9 ათას ჰექტარი იყო. მონაცემების ანალიზს “კომერსანტი” ავრცელებს.
მონაცემების თანახმად, 2017 წელს დაფიქსირებული მაჩვენებელი ბოლო ოთხი წლის განმავლობაში ყველაზე დაბალია.
2014 წელს ქვეყანაში სულ 274 900 ჰექტარი ნათესი ფართობი იყო, 2015 წელს 263 700, 2016 წელს 240 ათასი , ხოლო 2017 წელს 214 900 ჰექტარი.
